Before painting, ensure the ceiling is clean, dry and properly prepared, undercoating new or bare surfaces with PPG Architectural Coatings 3 in 1 Prep and sanding any glossy or flaking areas for an even finish. Stir PPG Paints Ceiling White thoroughly for at least five minutes, then apply one to two coats using a quality 12–15mm nap roller, brush or spray, allowing proper recoat time between coats. Work in sections, cutting in edges first and maintaining a wet edge to minimise lap marks and achieve a smooth, flat finish. Avoid steam or condensation for 48 hours after painting to allow the coating to cure properly.
